Well I finally had my first track meet! It was over in North Sevier on the 26. The day before at practice we were running in the snow. Yes, snow. I load up all my gear to face the bitter cold in NS for the dreaded track meet. We get there around 9:00 and get warmed up. I come to a realization that NOT ONE of my events begins till noon. O What Joy this will be sitting here in the freezing cold till 1, waiting for something to do. While waiting I find some of my friends from the town i previously lived in! I saw Magan Bean for the first time since I moved as well as Lauren Benjamin and Jory Pepalar. . .? :) the following week (which was last week) we had our second meet in Kanab. Unlike the one in NS it was warm and sunnier than beyond all reason! This meet went well for me (other than i got srewed over at the javelin station). I only have to knock off three seconds from running the 400 meter run to qualify for BYU and have to throw the disc another three feet to qualify in that to :) I can't wait till the next time I am ready and set on the blocks in the next meet!!
Just so you know I am smart :) haha i got my 3rd quarter report card and I had a 4.0! First time in my life that I have ever had one! Also I am hoping to obtain the position of secretary of the school student body officers so if you are from wayne be thinkin about me!!
I am aware its been a while since I have updated. I actually have a life now. . .kinda :) haha keep in touch for more boringness of the life os Shyann :D
